Join us as we bring together networks and organisations to plan for the Get Creative Festival taking place from 11-19 May 2019!
This year's festival was the biggest celebration of everyday creativity the UK has ever seen with over 1,400 events engaging tens of thousands of people. We want to continue to grow the festival so that creativity is seen as central to everyone's lives - accessible to all and valued by all.
We want to see opportunities for people to get creative in every part of the UK so we are inviting people and organisations to join us at our planning meeting to see how we can extend the reach of the festival and the diversity of activities on offer.
The annual Get Creative Festival offers a major platform for participatory creative events that are free (or cost-recovery). Whether these are existing, regular activities or one-off events for the festival, we want to put it on the map and make sure everyone is aware of the opportunities on their doorstep.
Please remember to bring Photo ID and allow time for security checks at BBC reception.
